The Ranch's eleven lakes are stocked for fishing, and there is also a fishing pier for guests. Anglers can catch bass, perch, catfish, and alligator gar.

The Ranch boasts over five miles of hiking trails.

The Buck Horn Creek Ranch offers a picturesque setting for competitive shooting and target practice.  Guests or groups can choose among the following shooting options:

Wildlife Tours and Photo Safaris
Guests can to take a relaxing ride around the Ranch to view the abundant wildlife. This is also a great opportunity for the amateur or professional nature photographer to get some great wildlife shots.
